Geological Passwords : The next technology

  These days hacking has turned into a menance hampering quality life and rising like a king in the

  cyber crime underworld. 

   

  In order to protech account linked with passwords , in recent days  'geographical passwords' has been designed by Computer scientist Ziyad Al-Salloum of ZSS-Research in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. 

   

   

  The geo style helps to recall with relative ease a favourite or visited place and to use that place's specific location as the access credentials.
  

   

   

  This will make things difficult for hackers even to apply brute force algorithm to track down the password.

  The password system analises the location information which they get from a specific memorable location around which the user has logged a drawn boundary - longitude, latitude, altitude, area of the boundary, its perimeter, sides, angles, radius and other features form the geographical password.

   

  Then the password is  "salted" by adding a string of hidden random characters which mayb alphanumeric in nature and  user-specific and the geographical password and the salt "hashed" together.
  
  Thus, even if two users pick the same place as their geographical password the behind-the-scenes password settings is unique to them.
