It is already mentioned that CBI officers are on high speed in investigating the mysterious death of IAS officer DK Ravi. The case is progressing and officers are juggling between Chennai and Bangalore in collecting documents.
Senior CBI officer said, "Documents, including the first information report (FIR) and other spot inspection reports by the city police, have been collected. We have to get some more documents from the criminal investigation department (CID) which later took over the investigation from the city police".
A source from CBI office says, "The first witness will be Ravi's driver Elangovan, who mysteriously disappeared soon after the incident and remained incommunicado later. But the CID seems to have taken his statement. We will be questioning him once again as there are certain missing links in his actions just before the IAS officer's death".
Senior office continued, "Though there appears to be some delay, the investigation process commenced as soon as the first notification reached the CBI headquarters, which entrusted the probe with the deputy inspector general (DIG), CBI in Chennai".
