Actress Penelope Cruz is reportedly set to play the Bond girl in the next edition of "James Bond" franchise.
The actress, who is expecting her second child with actor husband Javier Bardem, will start shooting for the movie after she turns 40 in April, 2014, reports thesun.co.uk.
Cruz will also be the oldest actress to play the character after Honor Blackman, who was 39 when she starred as ***** Galore in 1962 release "Goldfinger".
"Bond girls are always brainy and ****, and that’s totally Penelope," a source said.
Actress Naomie Harris played Bond girl in recent James Bond movie "Skyfall".
