  It is very sure that humans hate cockroaches. The cockroaches are also harmful for our health. The below are some simple remedies due to which we can keep cockroaches away for ourselves.

  Essential Oils

  Scent of essential oils is proved to be repellant to cockroaches. You can create spray for cockroaches at home only by using non-toxic essential oils. The most effective oils are cypress oil and peppermint oil. Mix 8 drops of cypress oil and 10 drops of peppermint oil to half a cup of water. Spray the mixture where the cockroaches are. The added benefit is that these oils smell lovely.

  Chemicals

  Chemicals are also very helpful to keep cockroaches away. You can sprinkle any powdered chemical or can spray any liquid chemical to keep cockroaches away. You should keep yourself and children very safe after doing this act.

  Keep Tidy

  Cockroaches love the dirty environment. They like unwashed dishes and thrash cans. You can do a great favor to yourself by keeping the house, especially the kitchen very clean. Since cockroaches are very active at night, I advise you to wash up the dishes and take out the thrash before going to bed. This will reduce the population of cockroaches till some extent.

  Get Rid of Cardboard

  Cardboard is cockroach’s favorite place. It’s like a cockroach’s nightclub. They occupy the spaces and hybrid themselves in cardboard very much. Any cardboard items of the home should be properly disposed of to reduce cockroach’s activity.

  Seal The Cracks

  Cockroaches generally come from outside or cracks. It will be very good to seal the cracks of the walls and floors. This will also reduce the population of cockroaches in your home.
