Together with Ward Christensen, <a href="https://thedailyguides.com/">Randy Suessmetz</a> is a computer programmer and one of the co-founders of the first computer bulletin board system (BBS). In 1978, the two of them developed the BBS software, which enabled users to communicate and share data across a computer network. In the history of computer networking, this was a ground-breaking innovation that opened the way for many of the online networking and communication capabilities we use today. Inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2006 as a result of their achievements in the industry, Randy Suess and Ward Christensen received honors.
