The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board has introduced Entrepreneurial Education into the school curricula, outside of the usual academic work.
This, according to the Government is to combat the rising level of graduate unemployment in Nigeria.
Speaking during an exhibition held at the Universal Basic Education Board in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Professor Modupe Adelabu, explained that the idea was to equip the students with the relevant skills to enable them stand on their own without necessarily running after non existing white-collar jobs after leaving school.
