rohan SAGARAm willing to spend $200-400 if it let's me essentially plug it in to any car and diagnose from the obd port, and then if it's a reasonably arbitrary code, reset it. Of course if it's more major, I'd then know it's time to take it to a mechanic.

Can I get recommendations from people that have used their scanners for multiple cars, and how they went? I've seen so many random people recommending the cheap units but I imagine they had a very common car and they were just lucky the cheap scanner worked on their car.
At the moment, I am looking to clear an Airbag code (removed passenger seat, had to drive the car without seat, reinstalled seat and plugged all connectors back in and now I have Airbag code) and also want to deactivate the super annoying deadlock system that you need to do with an OBD tool
